Touring Tears® (affectionately referred to as S.C.T.T.®)
was conceived in October 1996 while three teardrop owners were having dinner. We
wanted to get together with other teardrop owners to exchange ideas, compare
construction and decorating ideas, and swap stories about our travel adventures
in the teardrop trailers.
The Tin Can
Tourists were organized in 1919 at Desoto Park in Tampa, Florida. As the club
grew, they held Homecoming Rallies, Winter Conventions and Going Home
Celebrations in Acadia, Sarasota, Tampa and numerous other Florida locations.
